Silver Fox Rabbits
Silver Fox rabbits are a very rare breed of rabbit that were developed in the United States for meat and fur production in the early 20th century. Very few are produced in the US every year, and they are listed as critical by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. They are a large breed, with individuals weighing up to 12 pounds. The standard color is black with white ticking, similar to the arctic silver fox. Silver Fox rabbits also come in blue, chocolate, and rarely lilac or white. They have calm and docile temperaments, rarely bite, and make nice pets.
